Area of work: The Internal Platform is a key foundation, enabling faster product development via a reliable & scalable ecosystem. Supports the entire software lifecycle, tailored to organizational needs. Empowers development teams to operate autonomously in 80% of cases. Ensures compliance, security, & business continuity. Works closely with Product teams to increase productivity & accelerate delivery.
Role: Seeks a strategic leader as Engineer Manager for an Internal Platform team focused on testing & development environments. Mission: Provide stable & scalable environments, streamlining development & testing. Enhance developer experience, improve delivery time, ensure a low entry barrier. Provides solutions using a platform-as-a-product approach, empowering teams to manage applications autonomously, owning processes from discovery to delivery.
Managing the team:
- Lead a team of 6-9 senior engineers.
- Guide technical decisions that meet requirements.
- Develop a technological strategy with the team technical leader.
- Facilitate communication within the team & across departments for alignment.
- Collaboratively build team mission, aligning all decisions.
Product management:
- Understand and focus on customer needs.
- Foster Platform as a Product approach.
- Own process from discovery to delivery.
- Facilitate OKR process.
- Enhance & facilitate communication with product teams.
- Communicate team roadmap to achieve mission & goals.
Managing the project:
- Develop project scopes & objectives, involving all stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility.
- Act as hands-on project manager & people leader.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope & budget.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, tech leaders, product teams, legal & security teams.
Develop people:
- Provide guidance, mentorship & coaching.
- Provide regular feedback & help set/achieve career goals.
- Regularly assess team member performance.
Salary: €85,000 - €95,000.
