As a Dealer Services Portfolio Bankers in auto finance, you will work directly with Auto commercial bankers and sales leadership to provide portfolio management support and assist with new business opportunities/loan renewals. Portfolio Bankers (PBs) serve as a sales liaison with credit, operations, client service and treasury teams. PBs build relationships with client and have direct contact to manage portfolio effectively.
Job responsibilities
- Support bankers with new business opportunities, including spread requests, financial analysis, pricing model creation.
- Collaborate with internal partners to guide new business opportunities from proposal acceptance through onboarding.
- Assist with annual renewals by validating pricing models and relationship strategies.
- Support bankers with pipeline management to ensure new business/renewals move through pipeline in timely manner and escalate/resolve roadblocks.
- Communicate with the client to obtain needed portfolio maintenance items and coordinate with operations and credit teams to clear past-due items.
- Monitor portfolio performance and proactively address issues.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum of 5+ years of related work experience
- Experience with commercial systems, such as Data Scan, ACBS and ICRD
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, math, management
- Financial analysis capabilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in commercial underwriting and risk assessment.
- Salesforce experience
- MBA
