Full-Time Preconstruction Architect / Designer

• Create site layouts, feasibility studies, and early-stage design concepts.
• Produce detailed drawings and documentation for facility components.
• Design and coordinate EV charging layouts, ensuring compliance.
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners.
• Manage permitting processes and ensure designs meet building codes.
• Contribute to the creation of design standards.
• Prepare construction documentation and review shop drawings.
• Support long-term infrastructure planning.
• Participate in site selection and evaluation.
• Conduct design reviews and site visits.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in architectural design and pre-construction.
• Experience designing EV charging infrastructure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design tools.
• Strong understanding of building codes (ADA, NEC) and permitting processes.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience developing design standards or playbooks.
• Familiarity with sustainability principles and energy-efficient design strategies.
