Full-Time Preservation Coordinator, AFS Operations

About the Role

Ensure timely completion and coordination of activities to secure, maintain, and preserve REO properties. Work closely with vendors and contractors for property safety and readiness.

Responsibilities:

• Manage REO property preservation, following company procedures and legal guidelines.
• Coordinate property inspections for safety hazards and maintenance needs.
• Secure vacant properties to prevent unauthorized access and vandalism.
• Oversee property clean-out and debris removal.
• Manage lawn maintenance (grass cutting, landscaping) to maintain curb appeal and prevent code violations.
• Coordinate winterization services to protect vacant properties from weather damage.
• Ensure completion of life safety measures (e.g., board-up services, plumbing shut-off).
• Track and document all preservation activities.
• Collaborate with asset managers and other departments for a smooth property transition.
• Maintain accurate records for all REO properties.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-3 years experience in property preservation, REO management, or related field.
• Strong understanding of reverse mortgage foreclosure timelines and procedures.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and focused on timely task completion.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in PPW and Resnet applications.
