ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Strong Full Stack Software Engineer for the Flash Business
• Write efficient, reliable, maintainable, and defect-free code
• Design and implement software to meet and exceed business objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for innovative solutions
• Participate in software development practices (spec and code review)
• Stay curious about emerging technologies and incorporate them
• Adapt to evolving project requirements and technology landscapes
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making
• Proactively identify and implement effective solutions
• Be a technically unbounded go-getter

REQUIRED

• Strong technical leadership from start to finish
• Proven ability to lead team design, architecture, and implementation for application solutions
• Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience
• DevOps experience, including CI/CD pipelines
• Develop application software throughout the lifecycle (framing, prototyping, development, deployment)
• Exceptional ability to shape and share technical execution plans
• 5+ years experience in software development, algorithms, and data structures (with proficiency in Python, Golang, Ruby, C++, C#)
• 5+ years experience in frontend web development (HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript libraries/frameworks like React (with Next.js), Vue, or Angular)
• Experience with OLTP databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle)
• Experience with OLAP databases (Redshift, BigQuery, Pinot, Databricks, or Snowflake)
• Experience with RESTful (FastAPI / Flask), GraphQL, or other APIs
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

PREFERRED

• 8+ years of experience in software design, architecture, development, algorithms, and data structures
• Demonstrable full-stack application development with proficiency in paradigms like microservices, containerization, messaging, event-driven architecture
• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

SKILLS

• Strong problem solving & decision-making
• Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS, JS, React, Next.js, Vue, Angular)
• Strong knowledge of system languages (Java, Python, Golang, C++, C#, Rust)
• Good software development, decision-making, and adaptability/flexibility
• Working knowledge of data analytics, big data technologies, and ETL
