Konecranes Procurement Controlling team is responsible for enabling professional measuring and reporting of the Procurement Function and Konecranes' spend. It also helps to develop processes and practices that maintain and enhance the financial control environment. The Procurement team is responsible for approx. 2 billion euros spend globally.
We are looking for a Procurement Analyst, a proactive and self-motivated team player who will contribute to team and function deliverables and support stakeholders' cross-businesses in reaching their objectives.
This role will be perfect for you if you have strong dedication for proactive analytics, enabling effective control and prediction mechanisms to accelerate efficiency and advance Procurement's role in driving for better results.
Location: Flexible within Europe, with a strong preference for locations with a Konecranes presence. The role is hybrid remote and involves about 15% business travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control Procurement's cost center, ensuring actual expenditures are in-line with forecast and annual plan.
- Contribute to Procurement's annual planning and budgeting process and drive communication with relevant stakeholders.
- Drive and deploy Konecranes Supply Chain Financing Program (SCF) and improve group cash flow.
- Support management in decision-making through high-quality reporting and analysis.
- Contribute to agreed actionable deliverables from strategic planning processes.
- Work closely with BU Procurement organizations and other stakeholders on spend and savings-related matters.
- Ensure close interaction and active communication with stakeholders to understand needs and ensure alignment.
- Develop further standards, guidelines, and policies.
- Participate in global projects.
- Develop Procurement's global spend reporting tool (Sievo) and interactive learning courses.
- Provide training and support for Procurement stakeholders.
- Administer Procurement's savings program management tool (SPM) and execute sanity checks.
- Monthly reporting of various metrics and KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Professional degree in Business/Procurement/Accounting
- 5+ years of experience in Business or Finance Controlling in a global multicultural environment
- Business-oriented mindset and understanding of dependencies and implications of relevant figures
- Understanding of financial statements (balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow)
- Proactive attitude to spot and fix gaps

- Fluent English communication
- Power BI and SAP skills
