Purpose of Job: The role of the analyst is to ensure effective and efficient transactions related to sourcing services.
Primary Responsibility: Run RFx events (Request for Information, Request for Quote, and Request for Proposal) to support the supplier selection process and awarding.
Process Role Description:
- Leading commercially Source to Award and Contract Management
- RFx (Request for Information, Request for Quote, and Request for Proposal) management
- Providing day-to-day operations related to e-sourcing activities in the ERP system (Ariba/eSourcing tool)
- Setting up and managing e-sourcing events (e-tenders, e-evaluations, e-auctions, e-contract management)
- Working with Global Procurement teams to identify suitable goods and services for negotiation using e-tools
- Administering and supporting specific activities such as RFx creation and evaluation, category management, testing, and project closure
- Ensuring that all incoming requests are processed in a timely manner and in line with procurement procedures
- Ensuring that incoming enquiries are answered in a professional, prompt, and efficient manner
- Reporting incoming issues, monitoring their status, and driving resolution if needed
- Providing support to various procurement projects within defined timelines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field
- Minimum 4–8 years of experience supporting procurement and sourcing, including eSourcing and contract management
- Familiarity with Source to Contract (S2C) processes, including vendor selection, RFP/RFQ processes, and contract management
- Experience with eSourcing project planning and execution in indirect categories
- Strong understanding of procurement systems and tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement Cloud, or other e-sourcing and contract management platforms)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of an additional European language (e.g. German, French, Spanish, Italian) at min. B1 will be an advantage
