Bring your passion and feel the energy!Utilise your extensive strategic sourcing experience and working understanding of category management.A motivated, collaborative team environment.Group Procurement enables our business by procuring all our Non-Trade Goods and Services. As a Category Manager within the Procurement team, you will play a key role in leading, designing and delivering category strategies and commercial cost optimisation activities. Both of which focus on stakeholder engagement, value realisation and risk mitigation. This role will have a significant focus enabling our Marketing portfolio. Value will be delivered through running sourcing activities and negotiations, scope / specification review and demand management.Sound good? Read on.
Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
- Understand the Endeavour business and cost drivers and in collaboration with business partners, create category strategies and execute sourcing events to deliver sustainable value.
- Influencing and mobilising key stakeholders to deliver impactful change.
- Extracting insights from complex analysis.
- Influencing decisions and through clear communications and presentations.
- Running sourcing activities and supplier negotiation.
- Develop, implement and manage vendor performance metrics, documents and reporting as part of a Supplier Relationship Management plan (metrics, compliance, continuous improvement plans).
- Anticipate and execute contract-based opportunities.
- Support ESG programs and activities.
Now let’s talk about you:
- Procurement Category Management experience (minimum 5 years), ideally with an understanding of the Marketing portfolio.
- Have successfully developed, executed and managed category and sourcing strategies.
- An effective negotiator, communicator and people influencer, able to build relationships with stakeholders across all levels.
- A strategic thinker and self-starter with commercial acumen, you are able to navigate complex environments with ease.
- Are curious and willing to challenge whilst managing your time.
- You manage ambiguity well and can seek clarity with confidence.
- Have the desire to learn, develop and grow within the team.
- Exceptional written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in Google Workspace and Coupa.
- Possess good spend data analytics.
- Membership of a Procurement affiliated body highly desirable.
- You will enjoy using your interpersonal and technical expertise to not just solve problems on paper, but drive solutions through to implementation.
