Full-Time Procurement Specialist

• Applies knowledge of efficient procurement processes and market research to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Utilizes innovative cost and time-efficient strategies in decision-making.
• Formulates the contracting approach and determines the best contract type.
• Performs cost and price analysis for negotiations.
• Maintains liaison with the contractor to interpret contractual obligations and provide problem resolution.
• Coordinates with legal, finance, and other departments ensuring compliance.
• Implements contract management policies and procedures.
• Monitors contract execution, maintains records, and provides training on contract-related issues.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure contracts align with business objectives.
• Ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinates review of contract drafts by stakeholders to mitigate risk.
• Reviews, modifies, and negotiates contract terms.
• Prepares, maintains, and reviews purchasing files and prepares purchase orders.
• Responds to customer and supplier inquiries.
• Compares prices and specifications to determine the best acquisition method.
• Tracks the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders.

• Master’s Degree/Juris Doctorate
• FAC-C Professional, DAWIA Level II or III, or equivalent.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in contract management.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
