As a Director within the WNS Procurement Transformation & Advisory group, you are a thought-partner to clients, helping them shape ideas and solve complex problems. Build trust and confidence with senior-level clients. Lead and support projects for clients delivering best-in-class results leveraging firm capabilities. Work with consultants from across global offices and interact with leading international clients.
On client projects, be the point-of-contact for senior stakeholders, ensuring high-quality delivery and business development. Typical activities include structuring client problems, story-boarding project approaches, and coordinating workstreams.
Expertise Required: Procurement maturity assessments, Target Operating Model design, category strategy, strategic sourcing, end-to-end procurement processes, procurement technology.
Mentorship & Development: Directors are mentors, acting as people-managers and career coaches for the team. A significant role is coaching and developing junior team members in procurement consulting and subject matter expertise.
Firm Engagement: Engage with the WNS Procurement community to grow brand and firm presence. Use industry network and procurement knowledge to develop thought leadership, and build new tools to help clients.
Responsibilities: Manage client engagements from strategy development to execution. Utilize analytical, hypothesis-driven thinking to form solutions to complex procurement problems. Lead project proposals and develop new business opportunities. Manage project team development and functioning. Coach junior team members. Participate in recruitment, managing teams of 5-10 people. Engage with the broader WNS Procurement organization.
Required Experience: Customer-focused engagements from consulting background. Deliver quality work for clients, maintaining professional standards and respectful relationships. Business development, commercial or sales track record. Bachelor's degree.
