Your role is all about delving deep into our products, using data to spot trends and understand what our customers really want. As a Product Analyst, you'll be evaluating our offerings, using analytic tools to gain insights, and coming up with strategies to make our products even better. Your input will be key in shaping how we develop our products, with the goal of hitting our targets through smart improvements.
We'll be looking for your ability to turn insights into actions and work closely with teams to make our products evolve.
In addition to the above, you will:
- Evaluate product performance using analytics platforms such as Mixpanel to gain insights into consumer behaviour and product usage
- Utilise data to inform and suggest product development and optimisation strategies
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to integrate analytics insights into broader product strategies and communicate findings through compelling data storytelling
- Proficient use of analytical tools and systems like Mixpanel, Excel and PowerBI to analyse and visualise product data.
- Identify and resolve technical issues within product analytics tools and data gathering processes, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of product data.
Required skills and experience:
Minimum Qualifications: BSc Applied Mathematics / Statistics or Data Science or related fields. Minimum of 3 years' experience in product analysis, or data analysis preferably within a product-focused environment. Google Analytics or other product analytics certification preferable.
Deal breakers: 3-5 years of experience in a Product Analyst role, or Data Analyst role with significant time spent analysing product data. Experience using Product Analytics platforms, such as Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Heap or Amplitude. Demonstrated experience in data wrangling, cleaning, and visualisation specifically related to product analytics. Solid experience in performing cohort analysis, user segmentation, and funnel analysis. Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and their application to product improvement and market alignment strategies. Some experience in programming: Python or SQL preferable.
Additional Skills & Knowledge:
- Excellent Experience in Excel.
- Experience working with PowerBI preferable.
- Participation and active engagement in the defined internal processes (SDLC)
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum development principles and methodologies (Scrum | Kanban)
- Demonstrated ability in Data Storytelling
- Business Understanding: A good understanding of how card transactions and the online payment industry works. A very good understanding of the Data and Product Management Domain. An understanding of product design and marketing concepts.
