Full-Time Product Design Lead

We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Designer to join our growing design team. In this role you will collaborate with our Head of Product, designers, and other team members to enhance the user experience and visual aesthetics of OpenSea 2.0. You will play a key role in creating innovative and engaging designs that resonate with one the biggest dApp user bases in Web3!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a cohesive visual identity across all touchpoints: desktop, mobile web, and mobile app.

• Collaborate with the product team on various design projects, ensuring alignment with OpenSea’s brand and UX goals.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, business objectives, technical constraints and translate them into innovative solutions.

• Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs for new features and improvements.

• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.

• Contribute to fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and iteration within the product team and cross-functionally.

• Stay updated on Web3 industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure OpenSea leverages the cutting edge.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Designer in Web3 or wider tech space.

• Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail, typo, color, and layout.

• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of product design projects.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and others

• Intrinsic interest in leveraging new tools (e.g. AI) to increase work efficiency and quality.

• Passion for (blockchain) technology, NFTs, and the potential of digital ownership is a huge plus.
