Full-Time Product Design Manager

As a Product Design Manager, you'll lead a growing design team focused on refining our Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) product, including redesigning existing offerings and launching new ones. Vanta's design team is collaborative and ambitious. We value digging into user needs to craft solutions that enhance the entire Vanta product.

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a team of designers across multiple engineering squads.
• Develop new capabilities for the Vanta platform to address diverse customer needs.
• Ensure seamless integration across multiple teams, from design systems to workflows and mental models.
• Coach and mentor product designers, providing expert guidance and support.
• Foster a high-performing team with a focus on customer experience, design quality, and cohesion.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to build joint ownership and effective cross-functional partnerships.
• Contribute to product strategy and roadmap development, aligning design vision with business strategy.

Success Factors:

• 10+ years of product design experience, with deep expertise in complex B2B and B2C SaaS products.
• 3+ years of experience building and managing design teams.
• Strong understanding of B2B design quality (UX and UI).
• Proven track record of impactful design influencing internal stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration and partnership with product management and engineering.
• Passion for leading and building an inspired team.
• Deep curiosity about AI and cybersecurity.

Salary Range: $207,000 - $244,000
