About the Role: We're seeking a Product Designer to join our Horizon 3 product pod, innovating on 0-to-1 products and partnerships. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to create personalized school search and enrollment experiences.
What You Will Do:
- Design and iterate on product features, leveraging data and research insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship and iterate on design solutions.
- Maintain a high standard of design quality, using systems thinking and workflows.
- Develop strong communication skills to present solutions to stakeholders and move work forward.
- Strengthen the ability to develop hypotheses, experiment, and iterate quickly.
First Month: Learn about Niche, company mission, and product through onboarding.
Within 3 Months: Fully operate in your role, contribute to design strategy, and work through the design process.
Within 6 Months: Improve work processes and collaboration, present solutions with persuasive storytelling.
Within 12 Months: Become the primary designer for one or more complex projects.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience designing and shipping product features.
- Ability to explore design options and articulate trade-offs.
- Ability to incorporate data, research, and business goals into solutions.
- Understanding of design tools and fidelity levels.
- Reliable time estimation, iterative work, and feedback gathering.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and agile experience.
Extra Bonus: Experience with multi-sided marketplaces, Gen Z/Gen Alpha products, or AI products.
Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 base salary + bonus + stock options.
