As a Product Designer, you'll use your skills to solve problems, conduct user research, run ideation sessions, and create prototypes and designs in collaboration with engineering. You'll contribute to a scalable design system and process, looking beyond the visual to create holistic solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to build the Paddle platform and help software businesses grow.
- Partner with product managers to define and evolve product roadmaps.
- Conduct user interviews and user testing.
- Design and prototype user interfaces.
- Build features that simplify complex tasks for all customer levels.
- Collaborate with other designers and use data to improve design processes and tooling.
- Own the customer experience for our complex platform and consumer-facing checkout.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in end-to-end product design, ideally in SaaS/B2B.
- Strong portfolio showcasing the design process.
- Deep expertise in design systems.
- Experience supporting multiple products.
- Ability to collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
- Passion for building solutions to real problems.
- Effective communication of design rationale, backed by user research data.
- Proactive, self-starting, and able to work autonomously.
- Experience with prototyping tools like Figma or HTML/CSS.
- Strong UI design skills across multiple roles.
