Full-Time Product Designer

Raptor Maps is seeking a dynamic Product Designer to help design and enhance products driving efficiency and return on investment (ROI) for solar farms worldwide. You'll contribute to design decisions, creating tactical designs for Raptor Maps' AI and Robotics products and features.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine features addressing user pain points.
• Collaborate with designers and product leadership to define features and guide the product's direction.
• Gather and incorporate feedback from peers and stakeholders.
• Utilize the design system to create flows, sketches, and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Partner with engineers to ensure high-quality design implementation.
• Master UX best practices and apply them to designs.
• Employ data analytics and research to inform design decisions.
• Clearly articulate design goals and concepts in team discussions and feedback sessions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product design experience.
• Online portfolio showcasing design work.
• Proven ability to translate complex problems into user-centered digital solutions.
• Experience with prototyping tools.
• Data-driven decision-making skills and design rationale.
• Ability to influence product decisions and improve customer outcomes.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Understanding of design system theory and application.
• Experience in user research, such as usability testing.
• Familiarity with modern UI technologies and accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
