We are seeking a talented Product Designer, UI to join our Product Experience team. Collaborating with Product Managers, developers, and fellow designers, you will design features and enhancements for SportsEngine products. Create engaging, accessible, and innovative UI solutions.
Ideal candidate has experience designing for web and mobile apps. This individual is a creative, conceptual problem-solver with high-end design skill mixed with exceptional people and presentation skills to inspire and drive cutting-edge initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with UX, Product Management, and Engineering teams to design usable products.
- Understand business objectives and user needs.
- Use research and data to understand problems and drive design execution.
- Ensure UI design consistency across products.
- Produce visual assets (icons, illustrations).
- Modify products based on user feedback.
- Gather feedback and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
- Work closely with developers to ensure design integrity.
- Watch consumer trends to identify product traits.
- Able to work on multiple tracks and pivot from one project to another.
- Maintain a critical eye and attention to detail.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a UI Designer.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with transactional and e-commerce platforms.
- Knowledge of Apple HIG and Google Material Design.
- Understanding of W3C web and accessibility standards.
- Expert in design tools (including Figma).
- Proficiency in rapid prototyping.
- Experience with continuous design, A/B testing, and iteration.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI design projects.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with sports-related platforms.
