Full-Time Product Manager, Billing

Maxio is looking for a Product Manager, Billing to join their dynamic team.

Role Overview:

• Drive the evolution of billing products within Maxio's SaaS platform.
• Lead the vision and strategy for billing features.
• Develop and manage a product roadmap for billing, revenue recognition, and subscription management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to shape and prioritize product initiatives.
• Drive the full product lifecycle from ideation to launch.
• Apply deep understanding of billing models and revenue recognition.
• Ensure Maxio's billing products are compliant, reliable, and scalable.
• Be the voice of the customer, gathering feedback for product enhancements.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with various teams to ensure seamless go-to-market strategies and product adoption.
• Monitor KPIs to optimize for scalability, user experience, and performance.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in subscription billing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Billing Product Strategy & Roadmap: Lead the vision and strategy for Maxio's billing features, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and market trends.
• End-to-End Product Management: Drive the full product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond, ensuring the delivery of high-impact, customer-centric billing solutions.
• Billing Expertise & Compliance Leadership: Apply deep understanding of billing models, and revenue recognition practices. Partner with legal, finance, and tax teams.
• Customer-Centric Focus: Be the voice of the customer, gathering and prioritizing feedback to drive the development of new features and product enhancements.
• Collaboration Across Teams: Work with marketing, sales, customer success, and support teams.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of product features.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in product management with a focus on billing systems.
• Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of subscription billing models and revenue recognition.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and automation in billing systems.
• Communication & Leadership: Excellent communication skills.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.

Nice to have:

• Experience with leading billing platforms.
• Deep understanding of global tax compliance and accounting practices.
• Experience in a fintech or SaaS startup environment.
