At Smiths Interconnect, we have an opening for a new sales function in Poland and Germany.
Role Requirements:
High-performing Sales Account Manager to meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets, maintaining company competitiveness and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Maximize sales potential, create and execute strategic sales plans.
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by managing opportunities for Smiths Interconnect FOCOM products.
- Design and implement a strategic sales plan expanding the customer base and ensuring a strong presence in the Space, Defence & Aerospace markets.
- Support product and capability strategies by collaborating with Engineering and Product Management.
- Successfully manage stakeholders to support aggressive growth and sales targets.
- Create, present, and execute a credible Sales Forecast.
- Build strong customer relationships by understanding needs and developing partnering opportunities.
- Present sales, revenue, and expense reports to management.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts, and monitor new products and competition.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Successful previous experience as a sales representative or account manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field.
- Understanding of Space, Defence and/or Aerospace procurement.
- Demonstrable English, Polish, and German language skills (written and oral).
- Committed to continuous education.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence at all levels.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from conception to completion.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
- Understanding of RF products and their application (preferred).
