Regional Sales Manager, Medical Devices generates revenue using a consultative selling approach, focusing on CE marking and supply chain assessments for multi-national medical device manufacturers.
Develops business opportunities and long-term partnerships.
Assess customer needs and create solutions based on product portfolio, including training, ISO standards, and certifications.
Achieve sales targets, increase revenue by selling SGS solutions.
Responsible for all sales activities (audits, training, full solutions) in assigned territory.
Develop and implement business/marketing plans to expand customer base.
Collaborate with sales and support teams for customer satisfaction and revenue generation.
Develop a qualified leads database (Sales Force system) through referrals, meetings, calls, and networking.
Sell and recommend company solutions to solve business issues.
Generate proposals complying with accreditation/product sector requirements.
Maximize sales opportunities to gain market share.
Maintain accurate records of sales and prospecting activities (calls, presentations, closed sales).
Gather and submit detailed business information for pricing.
Create and conduct effective proposal presentations and RFP responses.
Participate in and contribute to educational programs for clients.
Maintain effective working relationships with support departments and assist in implementing marketing plans.
Include International Sales Manager/Account Manager for Global Key Accounts.
Adopt safe behaviors and comply with SGS policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of sales experience.
- Experience with ISO standards, specifically Medical Device ISO standards, directives, and certifications.
- Experience in the Certification industry.
- Senior level connections in the Medical Device products market.
- Minimum 3-5 years of solutions selling with Medical Device products experience.
