Full-Time Regulatory Reporting Manager

The Opportunity: We seek a Manager within our Finance team to lead MTL reporting. This role ensures compliance with money transmitter license financial requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present accurate financial statements, reports, and analysis for MTL reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to state regulators.
• Conduct financial analysis to support the regulated business.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal money transmitter licenses (net worth, bonding, liquidity).
• Coordinate with compliance and legal teams for regulatory updates.
• Prepare and submit reports to regulatory bodies (NMLS, state regulators).
• Work cross-functionally to maintain financial health and compliance.
• Develop financial forecasts and budgets supporting MTL reporting.
• Collaborate on company-wide budgeting and forecasting.
• Collaborate with treasury on liquidity and allowable investments.
• Ensure funds are appropriately allocated to meet operational and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with state regulators on internal and external audits.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks (money transmission, fraud, compliance).

Qualifications:

• Financial services industry experience (payment company or state licensee).
• Strong understanding of money transmission regulations (state-by-state).
• Prior management-level experience (preferred).
• Strong communication (written and oral), ability to communicate effectively with regulators.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Results-oriented, ability to handle multiple projects.
• Understanding of financial systems and MTL reporting (report development and enhancement).
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
