Full-Time Revenue Accountant

Position Overview: We are seeking a technically strong and detail-oriented Revenue Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in U.S. GAAP, fintech industry experience, and a deep understanding of data reconciliation. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition, support financial reporting, and contribute to the development of scalable accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Revenue Recognition: Ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with relevant accounting standards. Analyze revenue performance, monitor product-related activity, and ensure accurate classification and recognition.
• Accounting Operations & Close: Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation. Drive the timely and accurate close of revenue-related accounts.
• Data Reconciliation: Perform data reconciliations between financial systems, payment processors, and other relevant platforms to ensure accuracy and completeness of revenue data.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Financial Operations, Treasury, and Data Analytic teams to design and implement scalable accounting processes. Work closely with Business Finance to support downstream reporting needs.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting through month end close, reconciliations and flux meetings. Ensure that revenue-related financial data is accurately reported.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes. Implement best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy in revenue accounting.
• Data Analysis: Utilize data platform tools to extract, analyze, and reconcile data from various sources. Perform ad hoc analyses to support data reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Audit Support & Compliance: Prepare documentation and provide support for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
