Longbridge is seeking a Reverse Mortgage DE Underwriter.
Job Responsibilities:
- Underwrite files to meet FHA and LBF guidelines.
- Make timely, accurate decisions on FHA transactions.
- Evaluate risk and ensure loan quality.
- Communicate requirements clearly.
- Review loan files for accuracy and compliance.
- Communicate with processing department.
- Partner with processing to close loans efficiently.
- Adhere to service level agreements and prioritize workflow.
- Maintain quality and production standards.
- Assist in identifying alternative loan documentation.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of active experience as a DE Reverse Mortgage Underwriter.
- Valid active CHUMS Number.
- Strong credit and risk analysis skills.
- Computer literate.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations.
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
- Familiarity with HUD guidelines and mortgage legal documentation.
