As the Program Lead II, you will support the execution of our bank partnerships within the Risk Management function and ensure alignment with internal risk standards and partner expectations.
We are seeking an experienced Program Lead II to join our Risk Management team, with a primary focus on managing risk in the second line of defense and strengthening oversight of our bank partnerships.
Key responsibilities - Bank Partnership Management
- Support day-to-day relationship management with bank partners, ensuring timely and accurate communication and issue resolution.
- Coordinate internal responses to external bank partner requests, audits, exams, and due diligence activities, ensuring deadlines and quality expectations are met.
- Assist in designing and using scalable tools and processes to support bank partnership oversight.
- Track and report within our risk tools on key partnership initiatives, ensuring alignment with internal risk standards and partner expectations.
- Maintain an organized inventory of partner obligations, including tracking risk-related deliverables and ensuring compliance.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with banking partners to support the company’s objectives and goals.
- Demonstrate flexibility in managing and evolving multiple risk programs in response to changing enterprise priorities.
- Prepare and deliver regular updates and risk reports for bank partners and internal leadership, ensuring transparency and consistency.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance, metrics, and risks of bank partnerships and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
- Develop solutions for bank partnership program standardization that aligns with evolving risk appetite or regulatory expectations.
Key responsibilities - Risk Management
- Contribute to the execution of the company’s second line risk programs related to bank partnerships.
- Define, monitor and report on KRIs/KPIs for bank partnerships and contribute to management, executive and board-level presentations.
- Develop and support policies, procedures, and playbooks that govern partnership oversight.
- Support special projects or strategic initiatives driven by changes in partner needs or regulatory developments.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in financial services, banking, or related sectors, with at least 2 years supporting risk or partnership programs.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive outcomes in a matrixed environment.
- Knowledge of third-party risk management, and regulatory guidance (e.g., OCC, CFPB).
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to synthesize and present complex risk topics to senior audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting audits, regulatory exams, and partner due diligence preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
- Strong interest and aptitude for leveraging technology, including AI and automation, to enhance risk processes and partnership operations.
- Self-starting, comfortable operating independently with limited supervision while escalating appropriately.
