TealBook is looking for a high-performing Sales Director.
The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. We are looking for a self-motivated professional with an outstanding track record of consistently building, maintaining and closing a pipeline of qualified prospects to hit and exceed quota.
This position requires an individual who truly is a hunter and enjoys selling business solutions, not technology.
The Impact You Will Have
- Own and, at minimum, hit but ideally exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
- Manage the sales process, including building your funnel, qualifying leads, identifying decision-makers, developing multi-threaded relationships (mapping solutions and services to business issues), and closing and negotiating contracts.
- Conduct calls and demos primarily via Zoom screen-shares, occasionally in-person.
- Collaborating with internal teams
- Identify contact personas and build relationships through consultative selling.
- Leverage sales enablement tools like Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, Zoominfo, LinkedIn Sales Nav to efficiently prospect and manage a pipeline
- Stay on top of industry and vertical trends and share thought leadership with key contacts to drive awareness and engagement.
- Partner with prospects/customers to understand their business needs and objectives
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
What Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5-7 years of successful solution sales experience, ideally in a SaaS environment
- 2-3 years of selling procurement solutions is ideal
- Proven ability to meet sales targets by consistently driving the sales process from plan to close
- Strong knowledge of various sales tools
- Has quarterbacked RFPs
- Experience with a consultative sales approach, positioning value through data
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Suite, and technical skills
- Proven ability to position products against competitors
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Procurement knowledge is a strong asset
