RR Donnelley is seeking an SAP Materials Management business analyst to collaborate with team members on enhancing and implementing new functionalities within our established SAP ECC system. RR Donnelley's SAP focus is on core financials and procurement, utilizing interfaces with legacy systems for manufacturing and customer invoicing.
Ideal candidate:
- Proven experience with SAP Materials Management configuration, program development, and small project management.
- Define application requirements by reviewing requests from business partners and conducting solutioning sessions.
- Collaborate with legacy systems teams to design, build, test, and implement data exchange interfaces.
- Create design and training documentation for new functionalities and projects.
- Lead training sessions with users on new functionality.
- Gain user approval by developing system prototypes to present to users for review.
- Communicate project status with written status reports on a predetermined schedule for large development efforts.
- Responsible for configuration and daily support of implemented SAP Materials Management modules, focusing on Purchasing and related functions.
- Assist users in determining the best reporting methods (standard reports, table downloads, ABAP queries, or custom programs).
- Troubleshoot user issues and research solutions in SAP OSS, including implementing OSS notes.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 4-year degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
- Hands-on procurement experience is desired.
- Minimum 3 years of SAP ECC Materials Management configuration and implementation experience.
- SAP MM configuration experience in Purchasing and Inventory Management.
- Knowledge of and experience with MM integration with other SAP modules.
- Interface design and support experience.
- Deep understanding of procurement business processes.
- SAP ECC 6.0 or higher experience is required.
- SAP Ariba Procurement application experience is a plus.
- SAP Security experience is a plus.
- SAP configuration in MM (Material Master, Purchasing, Inventory Management).
- Experience with SAP Ariba is a significant advantage.
- Experience designing, implementing, and supporting interfaces with legacy systems.
- Program design and testing, including requirements gathering.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent understanding of procurement; actual purchasing experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication (written and oral) skills.
