Full-Time Senior Accountant

OpenLoop is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team remotely or based out of HQ in Des Moines, IA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performing daily accounting duties (AP, AR, cash management, payroll, FA, GL).
• Assisting with monthly close process (posting journal entries, reconciliations, financial analysis).
• Interfacing with external accountants during audits.
• Maintaining contact with various groups for excellent customer service and work product.
• Assisting on projects and ad-hoc assignments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4-6 years of progressive accounting/finance experience (ideally a public accounting/private industry mix).
• CPA certification or CPA eligible.
• Excellent knowledge of GAAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (V-lookups, pivot tables, etc.).
• Trustworthy and confidential.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to senior management.
• Precision/detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Proven ability to identify and drive process/system improvements.
• Positive, energetic, optimistic attitude, and willingness to roll up sleeves.
