Full-Time Senior Accountant

YOUR ROLEThe Senior Accountant is critical to financial operations. You'll manage all accounting functions, working directly with CEO and Head of Operations.

Responsibilities

1. Perform month-end close process: Prepare financial statements and analyses according to GAAP.
2. Prepare and review journal entries, transactions, monthly accruals, and expense allocations.
3. Reconcile bank, Stripe, Chargebee, and crypto accounts.
4. Analyze financial data and provide insights.
5. Maintain accurate financial records.
6. Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
7. Build revenue and expense forecast models.
8. Generate reports for internal and external stakeholders.
9. Respond to information requests for tax returns.
10. Update and maintain the General Ledger.
11. Prepare and review payroll, and approve for disbursement.

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent written English
• 4-7 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
• Prior accounting experience with SAAS companies
• Knowledge of QuickBooks, Stripe, Chargebee, Gusto
• Self-motivated
• Detail-oriented
• Organized
• Clear communication
• Knowledge of USA tax code
• Problem-solving abilities
• Positive attitude
• Comfortable in a growth-stage company
• Proactive and analytical
• Available 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Pacific Time for meetings
