Full-Time Senior Accountant

RoleWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a strong background in revenue accounting to join our growing finance team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring accurate revenue recognition, compliance with accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606), and the preparation of financial statements. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of revenue and month end close processes, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to continuous process improvement. An ideal candidate will have a desire to develop into a manager role.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare revenue recognition processes in compliance with ASC 606
• Prepare and reconcile monthly revenue journal entries and deferred revenue schedules
• Support the month-end close process, including preparing account reconciliations for key accounts such as cash, AR, AP, commissions and fixed assets
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Work closely with Finance and other departments to ensure accurate accruals and actuals by department
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Assist in audit requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency

What You Bring

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years focused on revenue accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills
• Familiarity with revenue automation tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with Netsuite and Ramp
• CPA license
