Full-Time Senior Accountant

Stambaugh Ness (SN) is a multi-discipline professional services firm serving clients nationally. As an Accountant in our Outsourcing Accounting Services (OAS) group, you will be a valued member of our team and will build relationships with your outsourcing clients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients throughout the entire project cycle (project entry, billing, reporting).
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by researching and analyzing data.
• Provide daily/weekly transactional assistance (accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit card import, consultant invoice management).
• Provide month-end closing service (reconciling general ledger, control accounts, bank and credit cards, prepayment and loan schedule updates).
• Prepare financial statements.
• Problem-solve for both the client and SN OAS; identify root causes and propose solutions.
• Participate in onboarding new OAS clients.
• Seek ways to improve client processes and profitability.
• Maintain a professional demeanor in all client interactions.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in multiple ERPs and billing software (e.g., Deltek Ajera).
• 3+ years of experience in Accounting at or above a staff accountant level.
• Experience in full bookkeeping, AP/AR, and financial statement reconciliation.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (preferred).
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels.

Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000
