Full-Time Senior Analyst - Procurement Services

Sr. Sourcing Analyst will execute services for sourcing projects, often from start to finish.

• Validates sourcing requests per client guidelines.
• Analyzes bid package requirements.
• Communicates with clients to address data gaps.
• Prepares and publishes bid packages to suppliers.
• Follows up with suppliers for participation.
• Summarizes proposals for the requester.

Key Responsibilities/Job Duties

• Provides sourcing services (RFP, RFI, RFQ) to clients, managing 7-12 projects concurrently.
• Supports teammates on sourcing activities (RFx development, NDA management, spend data analysis, proposal summarization).
• Identifies missing project requirements, validates details, and obtains further information from requesters.
• Gathers and summarizes bid requirements, prepares bid packages and publishes to suppliers using eSourcing tools.
• Follows category strategy and Intellectual Capital guidelines for supplier selection and quote/proposal acquisition.
• Researches and identifies potential suppliers.
• Analyzes proposals, prepares summaries, and presents to clients.
• Creates project documentation (folders, spend/savings documentation, status updates).
• Participates in peer reviews, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance with DSS methodology and client requirements.
• Supports other DSS procurement and sourcing services (spend analysis, supplier performance, contract administration).

• Advanced proficiency in eSourcing tools (Ariba, Procuri, Iasta, Zycus, ERP).
• Proficiency in DSS project documentation and tracking systems.

Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum 2-4 years of work experience in operational, procurement, sourcing, or service desk management.
• Understanding of at least 1-3 categories (pricing, terminology, bidding, cost structure).
