Senior Business Consultant, Pre-Sales
Responsible for determining and demonstrating solution fit to customer needs.
Provide product and solutions advice, build relationships, and generate sales leads through client site visits and/or virtual contacts. Answer complex product questions, and conduct detailed presentations and product demonstrations for manufacturing ERP and supply chain solutions.
Develop trusted advisor status with customers and effectively communicate solutions.
Partner with salespeople to present products/solutions to prospects/customers.
Manage the functional and technical aspects of the sales process.
Provide subject matter expertise in customer process improvement and compliance with business procedures.
Prepare and deliver application solution demonstrations, a key element of the sales process.
Analyze customer functional and technical needs, respond to RFPs with functional and technical specifications, design solutions to customer requirements.
Evaluate solutions in terms of feasibility, planning, and costs, and communicate technical proposals to competitively position QAD ERP and supply chain solutions.
Develop a high-level understanding of QAD's enterprise solutions to advise customers and sales reps.
Work closely with customers and industry verticals to identify product gaps and prioritize them for future releases.
Understand product roadmaps and answer complex product questions.
Promote company as a trusted advisor and deliver effective solution messages.
Stay current on industry trends impacting QAD ERP and supply chain solutions by participating in relevant associations and industry publications.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, attend webinars, trade shows, or conventions as required.
Provide product information and guidance to sales teams, participate in project cost estimations, and work closely with the Services department.
Work in manufacturing/supply chain environments, improve customer business processes (market to order, source to contract, procure to pay, plan to produce, record to report).
Map enterprise business processes to QAD solutions, highlighting benefits in eliminating technical debt.
Conduct detailed process assessments at customer sites and understand current processes and pain points.
Thorough knowledge of end-to-end manufacturing processes, including APS, ERP planning, and shopfloor Mfg Ops Mgmt.
Significant travel within North America is required.
Compensation Range: $171,360.07 - $228,768.15 Annually
Requires 5 years of related experience.
