Full-Time Senior Corporate Supply Chain/Procurement Manager

Who You’ll Work WithThis position will report directly to Chief Procurement Director. This position will need to work cross-functional with SW & HW engineering, IT departments and Corporate spending /Contract.

What You’ll DoThis is a newly established Corporate Purchasing which needed to develop and build a small team with Goals and Mission to achieve Cost savings and applying consistent processes.

The role of Senior Corporate Supply Chain/Procurement Manager is a highly commercial role that requires extensive internal and external interfacing with a number of constituents, implementation of best practices and sound judgement to arrive at the right outcomes for Arista Networks.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead/participate in contract and commercial negotiations for technology-related products and services globally, with focus on complex software agreements, including both internally-hosted as well as vendor-hosted arrangements, while following vendor engagement model and adhering to Arista’s vendor-related policies and practices.
2. Liaise with Business managers and supervisors to support their functions, and create and conduct procurement strategies
3. Collaborate with various risk management partners, such as Legal, Finance, Information Security, Compliance, and others to ensure firm's vendor management policies and procedures are adhered to.
4. Review terms with existing preferred suppliers (cost, payment terms, service levels, etc.) re-negotiating where there is scope for improvement
5. Create financial analysis of pending transactions, including review of vendor financial viability as well as total cost of ownership and return on investment analyses. May involve interfacing with outside research companies to create benchmarking models and identify cost savings opportunities.
6. Serve as an advisor to the business/technology groups in the areas of licensing and commercial/contractual/vendor risks, among others.
7. Lead/participate in license audits and certifications, in collaboration with other groups including end users, technology, legal, and others.
8. Liaise across Engineering leadership, business and relationship managers to identify and escalate vendor/client sensitivities, commercial and relationship opportunities.
9. Leading a small team of 3 corporate buyers. Train and develop them to become higher & efficient buyers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations or Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Technology strategic sourcing and supply chain management
• Excellent Program and Project Management Skills
• Utilize strong team building abilities to lead cross-functional process improvement teams and lead change within the organization
• Ability to coordinate cross-site, multi-functional objectives
• Ability to interface and positively influence at all levels through excellent communication skills
