Full-Time Senior Data Engineer

Role: Senior Data Engineer supporting Enterprise Data & Analytics services within the Ciox Real World Data (RWD) organization.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead design and architecture of the Ciox RWD Platform, encompassing Data Lifecycle functions (Ingestion, Curation, Analytics).
• Develop using technologies like Kubernetes, Python, Spark, SQS, Elastic Search, PostgreSQL, Airflow, Redshift, Dremio.
• Design data pipelines and transformations from various healthcare data sources to support analytics.
• Provide technical direction to Agile teams, instituting Data Engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Big Data and Machine Learning teams.
• Liaise with Development Managers to define Development, Quality, and Reliability of Data and Analytics Pipelines throughout the SDLC.
• Translate business requirements into feasible data warehouse designs.
• Provide data consulting to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or Math.
• 6-10 years of software development experience with Kubernetes, Python, SQL.
• Experience implementing AWS/Azure services in distributed computing environments.
• Experience with Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) or other container technology.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns and coding practices.
• Bonus points for: NLP, Data Science, Healthcare experience, Kubernetes Certified Application Developer (CKAD).
