Full-Time Senior Designer (Investment Banking)

This role requires strong leadership and excellent project management skills in coordinating creative, traffic, proofing, and project management teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Experience in communications design, including business strategy, design, typography, and production is crucial. Proven ability to work effectively within a fast-paced corporate environment is necessary.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Collaborating with traffic, proofing, and project management to define project needs and create finished products aligned with client brand strategy and creative concepts.
2. Developing creative and graphic concepts with the assigned team.
3. Solving business challenges through marketing and creative design.
4. Taking ownership and leading initiatives through all stages of creative development, ensuring on-target, on-time, and on-budget execution.
5. Maintaining and enhancing the firm's identity by staying true to the corporate brand.
6. Managing the execution of creative projects, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule.
7. Understanding client design needs and methodologies.
8. Effectively communicating with peers, senior management, and clients on business and creative topics.
9. Providing visual inspiration, refining designs, and offering critical feedback on all creative, structural, and technical aspects.
10. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 10+ years of experience, strong portfolio of imaginative work, retail, agency, or corporate design experience. Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Office, Dreamweaver, Visio, Chemdraw, and other creative applications; 3D rendering programs are a plus.
11. Experience Presenting/Pitching concepts to internal and external clients and sourcing vendors.
12. Strong copywriting skills, organizational skills, adaptability, and composure under pressure are essential.
13. Understanding of print production, basic web development, and user interface concepts.
14. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), ability to listen for understanding to complete work according to client needs.
15. Strong project, organizational, and time management skills.
16. Experience with legal applications (DocX Tools, Litera Innova, etc.), collaborating with various Firm personnel (associates, partners, etc.), creating and redrawing patent figures, and customizing digital presentations.
