This role requires thought leadership and excellence in aligning projects across creative, traffic, proofreading, and project management to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of creative services and graphics design projects.
Experience in communications design, including business strategy, design, typography, and production, is essential.
Ability to work creatively within a corporate brand and a fast-paced environment is critical.
Must deliver quality products and services on schedule and within budgeted cost parameters.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with traffic, proofreading, and project management to define project needs and design finished products supporting business and marketing objectives, maintaining the creative concept within the client's brand strategy.
- Developing creative and graphic concepts in collaboration with the team.
- Solving business challenges through marketing and smart creative design.
- Taking ownership and leading initiatives, successfully executing creative projects within deadlines and budget.
- Maintaining and enhancing the Firm's identity through creative work within the corporate brand.
- Managing the execution of creative projects, ensuring completion and meeting budget and schedule targets.
- Understanding client design needs and methodology.
- Effective communication with peers, senior management, and clients on business and creative topics.
- Providing inspiration, refining designs, and providing critical feedback on creative, structural, and technical output.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree related to business function with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Presentation design experience in financial services (preferred).
- A strong portfolio of imaginative work.
- Retail, agency, or in-house corporate design experience (required).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Office, Dreamweaver, Visio, Chemdraw, and other creative applications.
- 3D rendering programs (a plus).
- Experience presenting/pitching concepts to internal and external clients and sourcing vendors.
- New ideas, strong design sense, and copywriting skills (a plus).
- Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and composure under pressure.
- Understanding of print production, basic web development, and user interface concepts.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; active listening for effective execution per customer needs.
- Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
- Significant experience utilizing legal-specific applications (e.g., DocX Tools, Litera Innova, Litera ChangePro, iManage, Omnipage Professional).
- Experience collaborating with various Firm personnel (associates, partners, department operating officers, C-level executives, and marketing professionals).
- Experience creating and redrawing patent figures for patent applications.
- Ability to create and customize digital presentations with graphical elements.
Salary Range: $87,200 - $156,900 per year (negotiable based on location, experience, and skills).
