Full-Time Senior DevOps Engineer

Applications management involves overseeing the lifecycle of software applications, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value effectively.

As a DevOps Engineer at Endava, you will be responsible for independently managing and optimizing cloud-native solutions, with a particular focus on Microsoft Azure services.

You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable application environments.

The role demands a high level of autonomy, technical expertise in Azure, and the ability to drive DevOps best practices across the delivery lifecycle.

1. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure primarily in Microsoft Azure.
2. Independently manage and optimize Azure services such as Azure DevOps, App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vault, Application Insights, and Azure Monitor.
3. Collaborate with development teams to streamline CI/CD workflows using Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
4. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or Bicep to automate and standardize deployments.
5. Deploy, orchestrate, and manage containerized workloads using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Kubernetes clusters.
6. Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
7. Administer and maintain source control repositories and DevOps tooling (Azure Repos, GitHub, etc.).
8. Proactively troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and pipeline-related issues.
9. Ensure environments are compliant with security, scalability, and reliability standards.
10. Continuously assess and suggest improvements to cloud architecture, processes, and toolchains.
11. Effectively communicate and collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and clients in a proactive and transparent manner.

+5 Years of experience

Solid, hands-on experience building and managing Azure infrastructure.

Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.

In-depth knowledge of GitLab, Jenkis, or any CI/CD tool.

Excellent scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar).

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Experience participating in "project discovery sessions with Stakeholders."

Experience leading teams.
