Full-Time Senior Director of Product Design

Who You AreWe seek a Senior Director of Product Design to lead, scale, and develop our product design function into a world-class capability. Reporting to the VP of Product, you'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and GTM leaders to elevate design as a strategic growth pillar. You'll be a player and coach, setting the vision, creating frameworks, and rolling up your sleeves when needed.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the Design Function for Products: Manage and mentor a growing design and UX research team, establishing clear career paths and performance standards.
2. AI Focus: Employ AI in practice and design for AI.
3. Drive Design Strategy: Define a long-term design vision and roadmap aligning with company objectives, customer needs, and product strategy.
4. Elevate Design Quality: Champion a consistent design language and user experience across the product portfolio, focusing on usability, accessibility, and delight.
5. Contribute To Design Systems: Partner with the Director of Design, Platforms to build and implement scalable design systems, processes, and tooling, enabling consistency and efficiency as we scale.
6. Be a Cross-Functional Leader: Collaborate deeply with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to integrate design throughout the product lifecycle.
7. Advocate for the User: Embed user research and feedback into the product development cycle, fostering a human-centered design culture.
8. Own Metrics: Define and measure KPIs reflecting design impact on adoption, retention, customer satisfaction, and product quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of product design experience, including 3+ years in a senior design leadership role at a growth-stage B2B SaaS company.
• Proven success in building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing design teams.
• A strong design portfolio showcasing end-to-end product thinking and measurable business impact.
• Experience maturing design processes in a fast-paced, startup-to-scaleup environment.
• Deep understanding of user research methodologies and data-informed design.
• Ability to balance design vision with practical product and business constraints.
• Clear, confident communication and a collaborative, low-ego leadership style.
• Bonus: Experience in the Global Security industry, background with complex information architectures, fluency with accessibility and inclusive design practices.
