Full-Time Senior Director, Strategic Finance

Own GeneDx’s long-range plan: collaborate with executive leadership to quantify our aspirations, identify what we need to reach them, understand our current trajectory, and develop our go-forward options. Stand up and oversee finance business partner for critical growth areas.

• Collaborate with GeneDx’s executive leadership team to build and maintain a rolling 5-year model (income, balance sheet, cash flow) by business area
• Develop the operating mechanisms to track GeneDx’s trajectory against that plan and realize its execution.
• Establish and lead an investment evaluation cadence across all growth levers
• Strengthen our understanding of new and existing markets
• Support strategic decision making across near- and long-term timescales
• Develop screening theses and quick-turn valuations for potential acquisitions
• Stand up dedicated finance business partner support for our Data business and other key growth business areas
• Produce board-ready reporting and narratives for both regular reporting and key decisions

• 10+ years across Strategic Finance / Corp Dev / management consulting
• Track record building LRPs, running investment discipline, and producing board-grade materials
• Strong financial modeling inclusive of both ad hoc analysis and 3-statement models
• Working fluency with SQL/warehouse systems a plus
