J.S. Held is seeking a Senior Director (Water Resources) to provide water resources consulting and leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, recruit, and mentor a team of water resource professionals.
- Develop relationships to expand client leads in key industry sectors.
- Manage large and complex projects from inception to completion.
- Provide technical leadership on complex water regulatory issues.
- Advise clients on permitting requirements.
- Develop regulatory compliance strategies and communicate with regulatory agencies.
- Assist clients in scoping and planning related to water-focused regulatory requirements.
- Assist clients in identifying operational and/or regulatory risks.
- Produce high quality technical reports and perform QA/QC.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Chemistry, Geology, or Engineering or a related field.
- At least 15 years of water resources consulting experience.
- Strong grasp of environmental and water resources consulting.
- Strong working experience in MS Office Suite software.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare concise and accurate technical documents.
