Full-Time Senior Environmental Engineer - PFAS

AECOM is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to support remediation system design and operations, soil and groundwater investigations and remediation projects.

Responsibilities Include:

• Remediation system design and management/oversight of operations, maintenance, and monitoring.
• Data management and technical report production.
• Strong multi-discipline technical and interpersonal skills.
• Working independently and collaboratively with engineers and scientists.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• PFAS experience (Project Life-Cycle): Investigation, Treatment/Remedial Design, Remedial Implementation, Operations, Modeling.
• Analyze data and prepare reports.
• Develop study procedures for cost-effective work.
• Participate in interdisciplinary reviews.
• Develop construction cost estimates.
• Perform quality control.
• Prepare technical specifications.
• Provide input to engineering budget and schedule.
• Interface and write reports to clients and regulatory agencies.
• Planning and managing environmental fieldwork.
• Construction quality assurance and quality control.
• Supporting project managers.
• Flexibility to work on diverse projects.
• Mentoring junior staff.
• Supporting business development (pre-proposal meetings, site visits, proposal writing, reviews).
• Travel to project locations (driving, overnight stays).
• Implement project deliverable requirements of the AECOM Quality Management System.
• Build trusting working relationships.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Direct PFAS experience.
• Pre-employment substance abuse test and criminal background check.
• US Citizenship required.
• FE or EIT required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's or PhD in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• 10+ years of environmental consulting experience.
• 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills.
• PE preferred.
