Full-Time Senior Generative AI Software Engineer

About the Senior Software Engineer, Generative AI at Headspace: As a Senior Software Engineer, Generative AI, you'll play a key role in advancing Headspace's AI capabilities. You'll develop, optimize, and deploy generative AI models, enabling innovative AI applications aligned with Headspace's mission.

Your Responsibilities:

• Generative AI Model Development: Lead the design, training, and optimization of large-scale generative AI models for various Headspace use cases.
• End-to-End AI Solutioning: Own the full lifecycle of generative AI initiatives, from ideation to deployment, ensuring robust production systems.
• Platform Optimization: Build and enhance the generative AI platform using AWS and modern tools, focusing on Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Scalability and Reliability: Implement robust CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure AI system scalability and reliability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to integrate generative AI into products/services.
• Knowledge Sharing and Mentorship: Guide and mentor team members, fostering technical excellence and learning.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Technical Expertise: 3+ years of software engineering experience, focusing on AI/ML systems, developing and deploying generative models.
• Proficiency: Machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), Python, database management (SQL, MongoDB), and AWS, IaC tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Experience: Implementing and maintaining AI/ML best practices, including CI/CD pipelines and monitoring. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Compensation: $116,645 - $157,476 base salary.
