Job Details
Under the leadership of the Director, the Senior Manager will coordinate regulatory approval efforts with state and territory Boards of Nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Building: Establish connections with state regulatory agencies.
- Institutional Representation: Represent institution to regulatory agencies.
- Regulatory Management: Oversee the approval processes for campus programs.
- Collaborative Oversight: Prepare and submit applications, self-studies, and reports.
- Compliance Leadership: Handle licensing and compliance issues.
- Expert Resource: Serve as a resource for compliance on State Boards of Nursing matters.
- Curriculum Guidance: Provide input on curriculum development.
- Employee Qualification Assessment: Review qualifications for new and existing staff.
- Advisory Committee Leadership: Establish and support advisory committees.
- Accreditation Support: Assist in the development and submission of accreditation change reports.
- Mock Assessments: Participate in mock self-assessment activities.
- Committee Participation: Serve on committees to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Policy Monitoring: Ensure fair application of policies.
- Travel: Travel as needed.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in nursing required, PhD preferred.
- Five years of teaching/management experience in higher education.
- Experience with assessment, accreditation, and regulatory approval processes.
- Ability to develop relationships with state agency personnel.
- Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, writing, and computer skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%-30%.
