Full-Time Senior Manager Subrogation Claims

Senior Manager of Subrogation Claims will lead the operational and strategic functions of the new high-value subrogation claims team, overseeing 4-5 senior claims agents and maintaining relationships with third-party subrogation vendors and debt collection agencies.

Manage and mentor a team of senior claims professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability.

Collaborate with third-party vendors and debt collection agencies to optimize service delivery and cost efficiency.

Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to service level agreements.

Supervise subrogation processes, ensuring compliance with state laws and company policies and oversee financial metrics and recovery performance, driving continuous improvement in operational workflows.

Provide oversight into complex claims, including investigations, liability analysis, and settlement negotiations including total loss valuations.

Define and track departmental KPIs, creating actionable strategies for performance improvement.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in subrogation claims or related fields, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field (preferred).

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in claims management systems, familiarity with US subrogation laws, total loss and high-value subrogation claims experience.

Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
