Job Details
AECOM is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in facilities-related mechanical engineering and HVAC design. This is a hybrid position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques for HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Coordinate HVAC and plumbing systems with other disciplines.
- Perform construction inspection and create detailed reports.
- Review and revise engineering techniques in building design.
- Participate in proposal development, project planning, and staffing.
- Develop system-related narratives.
- Express complex system solutions in early design phases.
- Utilize Autodesk tools such as REVIT and CAD.
- Coordinate mechanical system design with electrical engineers and architects.
- Review and edit technical specifications.
- Interact with diverse clients and subcontractors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of building mechanical systems design
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- Experience with sustainable design and certification
- Experience with Design Build and other Alternative Delivery practices
- Laboratory, Federal, Water/Wastewater facility design experience
- Steam system design experience
- Experience with Life Cycle Cost Analysis
