Job Details
Strong understanding of the HR landscape (e.g., functions and processes) and existing challenges and best practices.
Proficiency in SQL and another data manipulation programming language (e.g. Python, R).
Partner with HR team members, leaders, and stakeholders across Western Digital to develop a deep understanding of current and emerging HR use cases and challenges, identify priorities for research and execute impactful research projects.
Expertise at telling stories with data and familiarity with at least one visualization tool (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI etc.,).
Proven ability to translate data into compelling and easy-to-understand insights, stories, and narratives that resonate with a non-technical audience.
Experience driving projects or programs which have had proven impact on business strategy and performance through your analytics skills.
A proven track record for crafting analysis into well-written and persuasive content.
Experience advising, presenting to, and serving as a thought partner to senior executives.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
5+ years of experience working in People Analytics, Talent Management, Organizational Development and/or Consulting to organizations.
5+ years of experience working with people data (e.g., survey data, HR data, psychological study data, human behavior data) in an applied setting.
2+ years of experience in Advanced Data Analytics
Understanding of advanced statistical methods (e.g., regression, cluster analysis, HLM, social network analysis, text analysis, longitudinal methods, etc.)
An understanding of the SaaS business model and key metrics.
Experience conducting research in organizations, including research design, data collection, statistical analysis, interpretation of results, and making actionable recommendation.
