Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust provides procurement services to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board (ICB).
Lead the delivery and development of the Procurement Commissioning Team’s work plan, offering advice on procurement routes and compliance.
Manage and deliver procurement activities in partnership with stakeholders, following regulations and governance.
Responsible for the management and continuous improvement of Procurement functions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply (MCIPS) or MBA in Strategic Procurement or relevant equivalent.
- Senior specialist commercial / public sector procurement experience.
- Experience of leading training and development activities/initiatives.
- Experience of Contract Management and Supplier Relationship Management.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Advanced procurement knowledge.
- Management of resources and financial risks and commercial acumen.
- Excellent written & oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of specialist software for contract management and e-procurement systems.
Personal Qualities:
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to Create and maintain working relationships with Clients.
