Role: You'll lead design from concept to launch, creating configurable smart-charging programs. You'll optimize the end-to-end experience for utilities and end-users across mobile and web, enhancing interactions. Collaboration with product, engineering, and other teams on design strategies is key.
Team: Part of a 5-person design team, reporting to the Design Manager. Remote team, collaborative and supportive.
Term: Fixed-term role to cover maternity leave until December 2025, paying (pro rata) up to $100k USD or $138k CAD.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the design process independently, from discovery to launch, for smart charging solutions
- Enhancing user experience of utility programs across mobile and web, improving satisfaction and engagement
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams on design strategies aligned with company goals
- Mentoring and sharing knowledge within the design team
Requirements:
- 3+ years of product design experience
- Portfolio showcasing impactful product design work, including end-to-end process
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience collaborating in remote teams
- Confidence aligning design with business strategy to drive growth
- Confidence in user research and data-informed decision-making
- Passion for users, product, and the EV industry
- Bonus: Experience with Tokens Studio, design systems, building 0-1 products, working with tools like Mixpanel or Holistics, experience in B2B2C ecosystems.
Compensation: Up to $100k USD or $138k CAD (pro rata).
