The Role We seek a Senior Product (Design Systems) Designer to elevate the quality, consistency, efficiency, and visual language of our products. You will create a unified design system for UX, visual, and service design guidelines and foundational principles.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Evolving product design language through foundational elements, components, patterns, templates, and pages.
- Building and maintaining design system artifacts (Figma library, documentation, and tooling across web and mobile).
- Creating high-quality mockups and interactive prototypes.
- Utilizing user research and data to inform design decisions.
- Designing custom iconography and graphical assets.
- Collaborating with designers, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to enhance UI craft, consistency, and usability.
- Establishing scalable documentation and usage guidelines.
- Championing design system adoption through education and proactive support.
Qualifications include:
- 6+ years experience in consumer product design
- 2+ years experience with design systems (ideally having built one)
- Outstanding portfolio demonstrating attention to detail and strong foundations in typography, interaction, and visual design.
- Mastery of Figma (auto-layout, variables, dev mode, component libraries, token management, etc.)
- Experience with design tokens and theming
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks
- Experience building scalable systems across multiple products and teams
- Excellent visual design sensibility and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in healthcare or health tech is preferred
