As a Senior Product Manager you will:
- Own the software platform roadmap and execution for clinical genetic interpretation, review, and sign-out.
- Manage product quarterly and annual roadmaps and release schedules.
- Identify the optimal path to meet competing needs, delivering efficiency and scalability without compromising quality.
- Capture and communicate requirements with clear prioritization.
- Track and drive development using Jira.
- Maximize cross-functional efficiencies and effectiveness working with lab directors, scientists, and collaborating software teams across different geographies.
- Be a source of clarity and communication, setting proper expectations on project status, timelines, dependencies, risks, and creating mitigation plans.
- Ensure and contribute to proper documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide relevant and timely trainings, demos, and updates for all stakeholders.
- Champion and advocate for quality and utility of products and smooth releases.
About you:
- B.S. or M.S. in Biology, Engineering, or related field
- Experience or knowledge of clinical genomics and variant interpretation
- 3+ years software product management experience in a biotech laboratory, preferably in a clinical setting
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written; collaborative nature
- Organized, reliable, team player, able to weigh trade-offs and make decisions in a changing environment
- Pluses: CLIA/CAP and/or medical device experience. Familiarity with SQL and relational databases; simple programming abilities in any language.
Expected Pay:
- Base Salary: $146,000 - $196,250
- Annual Bonus: 15% of annual salary
- Equity: Generous equity offered
